rainbow six: siege gsa league finals I digital event


Ubisoft planned to stage the first Rainbow Six Siege GSA Finals during the gamescom event in Cologne, and we created a concept for the finals with a live audience. 

Following the lockdown, the finals had to be transformed into a virtual event, which was broadcast in many different countries. 


We wanted to create a big stage for the first GSA Finals, and planned a 180⁰ projection wall and grand opening act. 

Due to the dynamic development of the Covid19 situation, we had to stay agile with the concept. 

Each change meant adjusting the set-up and the techniques applied. 



12,000 unique users in Germany watched the livestream of the R6 GSA Finals, which was streamed on Twitch and YouTube. The finals were also hosted in France for the French audience. After a grand opening with a live act, two days of competition was held via a livestream of around 9 hours a day. Finally, the winner was announced and received the first GSA trophy, which was also designed and produced by Flimmer.
