



JOKER I PREVIEW
THE CHALLENGE
"Joker" was one of the most important theatrical releases for Warner Bros. in 2019. The unusual approach of presenting a comic-book character in a psychological thriller was state of the art. We were asked to organise a preview which addressed fans of the Batman movie franchise, while giving them an understanding of this new approach.
THE IDEA
The new direction didn‘t fit a classic preview model. We wanted fans, who were invited by their favorite influencer talents, to attend a preview experience. Joker is set in New York in the 70s. Based on this we planned to build an authentic New York subway, and hired known local graffiti artists to create unique Joker fan art. We also wanted give fans a space to connect and exchange their impressions of the extraordinary movie
THE IMPLEMENTATION
CinemaxX HH-Dammtor and CineStar Kulturbrauerei were completely immersed in the Joker. Flow:Fwd talents such as LeFloid (Berlin) and Kelvin Cold & Nico Bakspin (Hamburg) invited their fans to share in this memorable evening.
The movie received significant public attention:
