dreamday 2020 I digital event

THE CHALLENGE

Due to the pandemic, the exclusive "dreamball" charity gala couldn‘t take place in its usual format. DKMS Life asked us to transform the Gala Event into a digital experience. 


THE IDEA

The dreamball was based on three elements: 
Campaign: "CANCER DOES NOT TAKE A BREAK". 
Concert: Virtual patient concert
Charity Gala: Gala Dinner Show with invited guests.

In collaboration with our client we created the dreamday, featuring significant media awareness throughout the day, a concert for patients in the afternoon, and an exclusive charity show in the evening. 

THE IMPLEMENTATION

An audience of 20,000 participated in the livestream  concert, featuring Sarah Connor, Sasha and Graham Candy. Testimonials from Sylvie Meis, Palina Rojinski, and Guido Maria Kretschmer supported Barbara Schöneberger on stage at the charity show. 

DKMS Life raised a €425,000 fund for their patient programme, "look good feel better", and garnered media awareness through TV, print, and digital coverage.
